What’s Happening?

December 9th, 2018

Often Christmas time can be a bit challenging for some with various reasons.

Do you know that Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice can help you to feel calm, clear and balanced, specially in a challenging time?

Tai Chi represents Yin and Yang concept through Tai Chi principles and movements. Yin and Yang are complementary to each other, like anything in the universe.

For example, man and women, day and night, left and right, the list goes on and on … . To make it simple, one won’t exist ( or doesn’t make sense) without the other.

Another very simple but important Yin and Yang example can be demonstrated by “Zhan Zhuang”- standing still like a tree pose, which I briefly talked about in my last facebook post
https://www.facebook.com/MeridianConnectionTaiChi/.

How is Yin and Yang manifested here?
Yang: To rise the crown of the head, sensing the body connection with the sky
Yin: To sink the legs through slightly bent knees, sensing the body connection with the earth.

As a result, you can receive energy from the nature and the universe, back to your body, which allows you to feel centred and relaxed, and be able to think clearly.

Imagine if you can do this on a daily basis?

There is an old Chinese saying, ( probably universally used/ recited by others as well),
大道之简,知易行难。

The greatest truths are the simplest,
To know them is easy, to do is difficult.

I think this is a question of personal CHOICE. Will you choose something like Tai Chi that applies universal concept for your health and wellbeing?

What will you choose for your health and wellbeing?

With the busy festive season, hope you will find regular “me time” to connect inner self.

Meridian Connection Tai Chi school wish you and your family a very Merry Christmas and a safe, happy New Year in 2019!

As always, we look forward to seeing you at our Tai Chi classes!

Yours in Tai Chi,
Fang
