Meridian Connection Tai Chi offers authentic and quality Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice, and is driven to empower people to improve their health and wellbeing.

Tai Chi originated in ancient China. It is a safe and relaxing exercise for one’s body and mind. It is easy to learn, suitable for almost any age and fitness level, fun and cost-effective. Qi Gong practice predominantly focuses on Qi (known as life force) regulation. To cultivate Qi through the body is the first step on one’s health journey. Both Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice provides holistic natural approach for self-care.

Meridian Connection Tai Chi provides regular weekly classes, short courses, quality workshops and easy-to-follow learning materials to suit all kinds of interests and needs. It also offers tailored private and corporate health programs. We are proud to form close partnerships with local councils, schools, health organisations and private corporations to deliver unique and quality Tai Chi and Qi Gong programs.

What We Offer

Meridian Connection Tai Chi School offers regular beginner, intermediate Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes, short meditation courses, quality Tai Chi for health workshops and events, Tai Chi and Qi Gong instructor programs as well as learning materials for self-care.

Meet Fang

Fang is a well-trained meditation and wellness coach and an experienced Tai Chi/Qi Gong practitioner. She founded Meridian Connection Tai Chi in 2012 and, since then, has been running classes, workshops and events in Adelaide.

Fang was born in China, where Tai Chi originates. She was extensively trained under the Grand Masters Xue Ju Jin and Hu Zeng Miao, who are both highly regarded for their life-time internal martial arts practice, particularly in Yang Style and Chen Style Tai Chi (Taijiquan), Shao Lin and Wu Dang Schools.

Since the age of five, Fang embarked on this health journey. Fang has won three-times, the International Tai Chi (Kung Fu/Martial arts) championship.

Fang is a current and fully accredited Kung Fu/Tai Chi coach endorsed by both Chinese and Australian Sports Commission. Fang is also an active member of Tai Chi Association of Australia.

Fang is very passionate about Tai Chi, Qi Gong, preventive and holistic well-being approach for health. She has shown an early interest in Chinese traditional medicine and body-energy work since she was a teenager. She studied Chinese massage and acupuncture when she was 18 and is very much interested in this field since then. That is one of the reasons why she has named her organisation as Meridian Connection Tai Chi, indicating inner energy (meridian line) connection.

With over 30 years of comprehensive  study and ongoing development, Fang provides high quality and unique Tai Chi and Qi Gong classes, which ensures that your learning experience is safe, productive and fun. Whether your interest is to improve your health,  relax your mind, or build your team efficiency, or be more successful, Fang has her gentle and holistic way to assist you and offer an individualised solution.
