What’s Happening
10th January 2022
Welcome everyone to our monthly newsletter and Happy New Year to you !
We had our Tai Chi at the Park session this morning. What a beautiful day to immerse oneself with nature. Through Tai Chi, we can be totally present, let everything else go, connect with inner-self and enjoy the peace and energy flow.
Nearly two-year Covid pandemic put a strain on many people’s mind and body, causing stress, tension and, as a result, weakened immune system and unwanted health problems. I genuinely believe that Tai Chi and Qi Gong can help you to regain your health and restore your energy through regular practice in a balanced and holistic manner.

During my Christmas and New Year holiday break, I have read some books as part of my self-care and relaxation. I would like to share a short piece of The Classics of Tai Chi with Tai Chi enthusiasts and fans,
” The body must move as a single unit at one with the breath, Chi and Spirit.
The rooting of the feet, the strength of the legs and the power of the waist all manifest in the hands.
There is Connection within the whole body. Our movements is guided by our Intention ( in Chinese, Yi)- mind.
Tai Chi is like a great river rolling on unceasingly. “
To support individuals who want to try Tai Chi or Qi Gong or deepen your current practice in a personalised way, I am offering something very special to Welcome your 2022 with good health and happiness. You are going to love our special.

Boris, one of my private students sent me this after his first 1-1 training:
Excellent session, doing multiple times daily. Pacifying myself with breathing. My foot were aching for 3 days, stretched and laughed. Can’t wait till the next lesson!
In Tai Chi, we include everyone based on mutual respect and support. You will experience/are experiencing this if you are in the class. I just found this old song as I was singing another similar song in Chinese ( Ming Tian Hui Geng Hao- Tomorrow Will Be Better ). It was a different social issue then. I hope some of you may like it https://www.youtube.com/
Once again, wish you all a brighter and better 2022! My Tai Chi team and I are looking forward to meeting you soon or seeing you again at new year Tai Chi/ Qi Gong classes!
Stay well and strong,
Fang & Meridian Connection Tai Chi Team
