New Year, New You

Hello Tai Chi students, friends and enthusiasts, a warm welcome to our first Newsletter in 2024!

Happy New Year to you and your family! I hope you had wonderful well-deserved festive holiday break with your loved ones.

Many of you have set your new year plan, whether it is for better fitness, more travelling, more self-care and meditation, and time with special ones, starting a family or a new job. I am excited to hear all these from my friends and students. Life is an ongoing change journey which is challenging and rewarding, can be very tough at times. I admire all your resilience and the hope for a better life.

I understand how much a good health and strong mind matters to all of us. With the belief that everyone deserves a good health without heavy financial burden, I have created loads of short videos (over 70) to support your self-paced daily exercise. I call it “the daily stress antidote“. All videos can be found at https://meridian-connection.com.au/resources/video/. 

What is really magical about Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice starts with your breath. Think about your breath as the remote control to the human body and nervous system and it is a fundamental part of your Tai Chi, known as Moving Meditation, practice. We breathe approximately 20000-25000 times a day. We can not afford to ignore the significance of our breath.

There will be a free Tai Chi and Qi Gong session in the Park to celebrate new year, more importantly, to relax, recharge and reconnect our mind and body in the nature.
