Tai Chi- Find Your Inner Peace and Strength
October 2025
Welcome everyone to our October newsletter :)
We have been nominated for Marion Business Award 2025! I know this won’t happen without your vote, so I want to take this opportunity to Thank You who nominated our school- Meridian Connection Tai Chi for Marion Business Award under “Health, Beauty and Wellbeing” category. Thank you, from the bottom of my heart, for your trust in us and your ongoing support.
From the day one of its inception, Meridian Connection Tai Chi exists to assist you with your health needs and empower you to excel with enhanced health and mental wellbeing. This is not a word statement, this is demonstrated with our commitment for excellence in people-centred service with 5 star ratings in Google review, over the past decade.
Why are we so committed to with what we do?
Because we believe health is the most precious asset for each one of us, it is the foundation for anyone who wants to have an independent, fulfilling, enriched and happy life. By supporting people in their health journey, we make lasting positive impact on individuals and in our communities. How rewarding it is, live local and thrive local (maybe reach out globally if it flows so)
Why do we think our Tai Chi programs work for you?
Because we stand for authenticity and won’t comprise anything to lower our standard. Our programs are an infusion of Eastern and Western harmonious mastery: connecting ancient Eastern Tai Chi for health studies with a Western way of learning. Our programs are safe, effective, inclusive and engaging.
I guess you all have had various learning experience in the past.
Can you remember the One(ones) which brings you the most joyful experience?
Can you visualise it? Can you draw a picture?
Can you hear it?
Can you feel it?
Can you describe this experience?
For me, Tai Chi brings me the deep peace and joy that I long for. I would love to hear your most joyful experience.
Imagine you are in a state of mind where you don’t need anything, just being yourself, it is enough, it is good enough. When the mind guides the body, the body makes the moves, the breath connects the mind and body. Everything slows down and you start to connect with your inner-self. You can hear your heartbeat, your own breath and see your mind clearly.
Like the keel of a ship, this calm, clear state of mind is profoundly important as it guides us to go through a hectic and ever-changing life. This keep us sane and grounded.
Once you make peace with yourself, you may start to react with others and nature in different perspective. I am not sure what this would be for you. I assume it maybe mean more patience ( to listen, observe and connect), more respect and gratitude ( to understand beauty varies in forms, challenge stereotyped concepts, act with kindness) and more strength within ( believe you have it).
As Tai Chi practice brings the slowness and flow, it offers us the practical tool to experience stillness in motion, finding Yin and Yang balance in life.
