Tai Chi and Qi Gong – Mindfulness and Innerpeace
July 2026
Welcome everyone to our July newsletter.
In today’s world, things are hectic on many levels. If I want to be negative with the current world, I could complain a whole day on and on. However, what good would come out of my action?
Once I heard from someone or somewhere, “you can always fill your mind with something positive. If you don’t, then the negative staff will fill it in.” I am telling myself to see the good things in people and in nature. This doesn’t mean I deny or try to be blind with what is going on around.
It is the choice we make every day, isn’t it?
July is here, so half year of 2026 is gone! What have I done during the first six months of this year?
One of the good things for me as I am getting older is I spend more time, reflecting my life. I don’t want to make an impression of lecturing anyone here. Simply, I think life is precious, I want to make mine meaningful and enriched with human connection in an increasingly saturated digital and AI world while more and more people feel extremely lonely.
I am very fortunate to be able to do what I do: Offering Tai Chi and Qi Gong to empower people for better health and wellbeing, and build confidence, strength and social connection.
I can not see robots would do better. They can’t offer my genuine individual care and attention to each person in the class, the eye contact, the warmth and positive vibe. The list goes on…. If you don’t agree or agree, you can always give me your feedback and comments.
The Rainy Wild Goose Qi Gong workshop on 20th June was a wonderful practice together with movements and guided meditation. Thank you to those who participated. Twenty percent of the workshop proceeds was donated to Flinders Foundation.
If health is important to you and you are keen to have some authentic and healing Tai Chi practice, I am excited to offer you the Tai Chi for Body Posture, Grounding & Strengthening workshop on 25th July. The workshop includes Tai Chi walking, traditional Tai Chi postures and deep breathing technique teaching. There will be new Tai Chi movements practice different from earlier workshops in March and May.
Limited spots. Please book early to avoid disappointment. Workshop details are at https://meridian-connection.com.au/our-events-covid/future-events/. Please share this workshop information with someone you know who may benefit from it. Learn the tools for self-care and self-love.
Twenty percent of the workshop proceeds will be donated to Little Heroes Foundation.
Our Term 3 Tai Chi classes will commence on 5th Wednesday and 7th August Friday respectively. Through regular practice, you will learn Tai Chi fundamental principles, slow and controlled movements and heartfelt peaceful rhythms. As a result, you experience improved strength, balance, flexibility, inner peace, and more. There are many studies done in the past 20 years regarding the power of Tai Chi for health. If you are a book worm, there are plenty you can read about it!
Looking forward to seeing you at the July workshop and in the new Term 3 soon.
Stay well,
Fang & the Team
