What’s Happening
9th October, 2019
How was the “flowing-hand Tai Chi demo” if you had a chance to try it? Did you feel relaxed and a bit flow afterwards?
Imagine you have a balanced life, you feel good and energetic, your mind is calm and your body is centered. Your body and mind consciously communicate to each other. Everything flows nicely. That would be great, wouldn’t it?
You can have all these outcome if you choose to practise Tai Chi on a regular basis, even just 10 minutes a day.
Let’s see this in a different way. You wash your face and brush your teeth every day, take regular showers. Is that right? how about your body vessels and your mind?
Blood vessels ensure the delivery and circulation of life essence within your body. Your mind is the ultimate centre of everything you do. So, how much effort do you put in to look after them for your own sake? Research has shown that Tai Chi is a great exercise for health and wellbeing approved by millions of people worldwide pratcising Tai Chi today. I have 95-year old student as well as 12-year old student in my tai chi class. They both enjoy Tai Chi for different reasons.
A primary goal of tai chi practice is to induce, develop, and improve flow; ensuring a continuous, harmonious, and synergistic practice.
Flow refers to a state of complete immersion (body and mind) in an activity; a magical grace that brings us one step closer to total balance. Individuals with a high degree of flow achieve a heightened sense of wholeness and well-being in their lives.
Use the “flowing-hand Tai Chi demo” as many times as you like to experience the flow state yourself! Let me know if you want to resend you the video directly.
