Tai Chi for better health and vitality
September 2023
Hello Tai Chi students, friends and enthusiasts, a warm welcome to our 2023 September Newsletter!
Last month we didn’t have monthly newsletter due to my overseas travel. I hope you and your family have been well.
I am back in Adelaide now. Our term 3 ( last term of this year) will start TODAY! Five classes each week for you to enjoy relaxation, flow, inner peace and much more.
Tai Chi and Qi Gong practice moves our bodies slowly, challenges the concept of “Slow is weak”. As a matter of fact, it is quite the opposite. Slowness and calmness demonstrate our strength. Try to ride your bikes slowly, don’t you think you need greater balance and control to make sure you are not falling off the bike? Tai Chi is similar. It requires your focus, an united mind and body with your sacred spirit. To reward you for your action, Tai Chi help you to reduce pain, increase blood circulation, improve cardiovascular function, body posture, calm the mind and boost energy level.
Most of my students know this very well, otherwise you won’t be here with the school for these many years!

Mid-autumn festival (15th August based on lunar calendar) is an important date as a symbol of family reunion in Chinese culture. To honor it, we will host a free Tai Chi in the park event next Saturday between 930am and 11am at Angus Neill Reserve Seacliff, offering free Tai Chi and Qi Gong, moon cake and Chinese tea. Everyone is welcome! :)
We also have SiFu James Gao from Sydney coming in October to share his 40 years Tai Chi skills with us from his traditional Yang Tai Chi Lineage. He has a wonderful style of communication to make sure Tai Chi principles can be understood easily by both Tai Chi beginners and practitioners. An rare opportunity. The workshop information is at https://meridian-
Tai Chi and Qi Gong is working for your Qi balance. If you have low energy level, feeling tired or flat with ache and pain here and there, Tai Chi and Qi Gong has its gentle yet powerful way to build your Qi up and strengthen your whole body by restoring the depleted energy centre through breathing and meditative movements.
Come and join us. Action is better than words.
At Meridian Connection Tai Chi, we always seek improvements to provide high quality teaching and look forward to seeing you back to the class or welcoming you to join our friendly Tai Chi groups very soon.
To your health,
Fang and the Team
